The Neurosurgery Outreach Foundation in the News
"access: The journey of giving" NOF's 15th Anniversary commemorative magazine
A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. That single step of an idea, from two people brainstorming while driving home led to establishing the Neurosurgery Outreach Foundation, a non-profit that has now officially journeyed 15 years.
This commemorative magazine looks back, takes stock of the present, and looks forward to the future of global neurosurgical care towards making it accessible to those who need it most. It also tells the story of how doctors, health care professionals, donors, executives, administrators, volunteers, and patients’ lives intersect through the community that NOF has built.
The ties that bind this community together remain strong and can only be attributed to the shared concept of giving. It also takes it a step further, making giving a lifestyle that continues to this day in pursuit of NOF’s vision: creating a world where everyone has access to safe, adequate neurosurgical care.
